About the AΔ Consulting Logo
The logo represents a few aspects that continue to influence my approach.
- The triangle is taken from the Greek letter Δ known as Delta and Δ is used in science to denote change; in finance to measure the rate of change of an option value; and in economics to represent the macroscopic change in the value of a variable
- The Δ set in superscript is my reference to the power of change and the power that change has in organizations. I read it: to the power of change.
- In music, a superscript Δ represents a major triad of 3 notes: the root, the 3rd above the root, and the 5th above the root. I have co-opted the triangle symbol to also represent 3 common change aspects of people, process, and technology or the project triple constraint of time, budget, scope.
